• Glass Marble Name Board

This project turned out very cute. It looks better in person, even. I made it all by myself in our living room floor. It took a while but it was easy. I made it while we were watching tv with my family.  Here’s what you need to make it:

    • 1 flat canvas
    • glitter colors of your choice
    • hot glue gun (pow POW!)
    • ModPodge
    • enough clear flat marbles (the kind from the floral department) to spell your name or monogram

Lay your flat canvas down and measure how many clear marbles you’ll need (a dry run). Take a picture to remind yourself how it looks.  Lay your marbles aside. Mod Podge your canvas and sprinkle your background glitter color.  I chose gold and silver. While that dries, Mod Podge the flat sides of your marbles.  Sprinkle glitter on top of that.  Let everything dry while your hot glue gun is getting hot.

After everything is dry take your hot glue gun and put a SMALL dot on the flat side of your glass marble and stick it where you want on your canvas. Use the photo you took as your guide.  You can add a hanger to the back, or stand it up on a mantle or you could attach ribbon to hang it.  Hope you enjoy!

    Best wishes!
